Athabasca & District Senior Citizens Society

The Athabasca & District Senior Citizens Society welcomes people 50+ years as members at a low fee of $15 per year. It is a gathering place for activities, various functions, and resources. We offer a wonderful location to connect with other seniors, broaden your skills, and take part in uplifting experiences.

Annual General Meeting!

The 2026 AGM will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, with lunch starting at 12:30. We hope for a large member turnout for the Board elections.

Temporary Closure

The Seniors Centre will be closed for most activities from Wednesday, January 7 until Tuesday, January 13 for resurfacing floors in main entry, kitchen, and bathrooms.

The Athabasca & District Senior Citizens Society is always looking for ready and willing volunteers. You do not need to be a member or a senior to volunteer; we have a wide variety of opportunities that can help you meet new people, build your skills, and have fun!

The Athabasca & District Seniors Society is celebrating our newly renovated kitchen facilities! Join us for weekly programmed activities, and see our updated look throughout the building. New members and volunteers are always welcomed as well as the general public for events such as bingo, pancake breakfasts, and spring and fall suppers.
